22-year-old medical student stabbed to death by her boyfriend in Kenya

A 27-year-old man turned himself in to police in Oloitoktok, Kajiado County, Kenya, and admitted to murdering his fiancée following an argument.

On Friday, October 22, the man, who described himself as an IT intern, admitted to stabbing his girlfriend, a 22-year-old Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student named Miriam Chepchirchir, to death.

The suspect told police that he came to Oloitoktok on Friday to see his sweetheart, but they got into a disagreement, and he stabbed her many times in the neck and chest.

The police escorted the suspect to the murder location, a three-kilometer-away estate named Kamukunji, where they discovered the deceased’s corpse exactly as the suspect had described.

There were traces of struggle at the crime site, according to the police report, where the men in blue reportedly confiscated the murder weapon.

The suspect has subsequently been taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), and the deceased’s body has been sent to the Oloitoktok Hospital morgue for postmortem examination.
