Oyo college bans dreadlocks, sets up task force to sanction erring students

The Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, has formed a task force committee to enforce dress code at the school.

Wasiu Raheem, the institution’s Dean of Students’ Affairs, made the announcement on Tuesday, November 2.

According to the Dean of Students’ Affairs, the committee was formed to guarantee that students follow the institution’s dress code.
He also stated that the committee will suggest suitable penalties for those who refused to follow the rules.
He urged the institution’s students to strictly adhere to the norms and regulations.

Head of the task force, Olubunmi Adeosun, while speaking, said that the committee has been moving around the lecture halls of the institution in order to identify students who did not comply with the dress code.
